Want to know the real truth about the Goodall Boys?
Firstly what brought you to our Web site?
Was it that you heard of the legendary exploits of The Goodall Boys, or was it just sheer good luck?
Please email us and tell us where you heard of us.
But mostly welcome to our world -the beautiful but sometimes unforgiving country that this site displays is our back yard.
You have asked the question.
Who are The Goodall Boys? Bush Poets? Photographers? Outback Legends? We thank you for your curiosity; we are asked the same question everywhere we go!
True, we look and are unique but The Goodall Boys, are we legends? We often ask these questions of ourselves!
Are we related?
Do our pets have a common pedigree?
Do children come flocking from classrooms when they hear we are passing through their beautiful outback town?
Are we crocodile hunters?
Is it true that women drape themselves over our bonnet to prevent us leaving their lives?
The answer is simple, we cannot answer!
Our mystique follows us, as does the dust on the tracks that we know so well.
That's right folks The Goodall Boys don't kiss and tell, but there is one thing we can say,
the bigger the tale the more truth we have packed into it!

The Goodall Boys are legendary in the Corner Country of Outback Australia,
that is to say the residents of the corner country often get confused about which story
they should tell about our epic adventures. Do they tell the truth or like most, exagerate the facts to impress the tourists.
You will only know for yourself once you have had the chance to experience our brand of Aussieness and outback humour.
Some folk have purposely braved desert storms and crossed dangerous swollen creeks
to come spend a fleeting moment in the company of truly sensitive, creative, outback Aussie blokes.
A job that The Goodall Boys are passionate about is to bring the Aussie Outback
into the hearts and minds of every person that comes into contact with us,
enjoy our site and you to can start on your journey to the Outback of Australia.

Here's a poem we received from one of our many fans.
It's amazing how we affect people across the country, inspiring them to put their feelings into verse -
it's a humbling experience for us as Ambassadors for the Outback.
The Goodall Boys
I know a couple of blokes, from Down Under way
They call themselves the Goodall Boys, and I think they're here to stay
They almost look like brothers, but I can tell you that they're not
One thinks he's a real cool dude, and the other thinks he's hot
They wrote a book called Trails and Tales, it's full of good ideas
Outback verse and images, and cooking tips I hear
There is a brand of mystery that surrounds this rugged pair
I've heard that they are legendary, get close, you wouldn't dare
If you want to learn lots more about the stunning Corner Country
These dudes love to give free advice out to all and sundry
You can even catch a ride with them on the Goodall famous tour
But careful, the West will draw you in, and for that there is no cure
Their favourite topic is Innamincka, they really try to sell it
They even named a pizza for it, if only they could spell it!
It's written on top the pub, in great big fat letters
But somehow they didn't “C” it when the printer went hell for leather
These boys have hearty appetites, for food they're always looking
Oft times when Mark's not snapping pics, he's round the campfire cooking
While Rob prefers his laptop to write his poetry
You'll find him chasing dreams out under the old Dig Tree
If you hear a roadtrain coming, it's probably just Mark's truck
If it wasn't for his trusty Coopers, he'd sure be out of luck
They've been known to down a beer or two, or three, or four, or five
The likes of the home brew kind, I'm surprised they're still alive
So if you hear the Goodall Boys are coming to your town
Plan early for an autograph, for they'll come from miles around
You'll recognise them by their hats, akubras pulled down low
The swagger in their step, ‘cos their legs are slightly bowed
They'll breeze right through your town like a storm that's from the West
And leave you thinking, “dammit I've met the best!”
These good old Aussie boys with their natural outback fame
Are here to enrich your lives, you'll never be the same!
